The small claims court money claim can be done online on the government website. A legal letter to fill in can be found on the "Which" website and gives 28 days notice. Notify Teletext Holidays of impending legal proceedings through the small claims court. Article 75.if you have paid by credit card dispute the charge and fill out a article 75 form and maybe your card company will recover the money. Claim on travel insurance.as it's all still up in the air and credit notes may emerge this may not be paid out. It looks like they are holding on to everyone's money in the hope of legislation change so they can give credit notes or not pay refunds for 4 months. We want the £15.70 putting back into the account you took it from and the refund £120 that you already have from us for a holiday that cannot take place and was not canceled by us but by yourselves based on government guidelines. you took money from my account without permission after telling me that no money would be taken from my account. Teletext, you have dealt with this in the most appauling way. checking my online banking 2nd april they take £15.70 from my account. I told them i wanted a call back in 24 hours or expect a massive complaint - still to this day now no attempt to contact us has been made Fast forward to now. yet i was reassured that as the holiday was cancelled NO money would be taken from my account - i saved this conversation. we did not cancel the holiday so why charge us a fee? Why try to take the money? still getting no answers i got fobbed off to say to help me someone would need to call me. Think i was talking to a robot! The government puts travel bans in place, we have an email from Ryan air plus an email from teletext to tell us the holiday is canceled yet they want to charge us a cancelation fee And take money for somwthing thats cancelled. Are you kidding me!! Could not answer any questions. We were told that although our holiday was canceled you were going to charge us a cancelation fee. Having to repeat myself and provide the same information more than once. Same day get another email to say payment had failed and call to make payment - the same payment that was taken early!!! After an online chat - which was appauling. Received an email 26th march from teletext to say holiday cancelled. They told us our outstanding balance was due 27th march, they tried to take the payment 2 days early covid 19 - i had an email from Ryanair 20th march to advise that our flights were cancelled Yet you try and take money from us for a holiday that could not take place. Never in my life will i ever use teletext holidays again Booking the holiday - the service was shocking and the person we spoke to on the phone was very abrupt and demanding.
