The lodge is very well situated for access to wolf creek ski area. The town is very small but bob and his wife work hard to accommodate every guest to their desire. Bob is the man! We stayed there for a powder day at wolf creek and will definitely stay there again next time. I cannot say enough good things about Bob and his lodge. He treats people like human-beings and not like a business transaction. The place was immaculate in every way, and Bob (the owner) is a wonderful man. We never saw any evidence of the fires but the town had been evacuated some days earlier because it was headed that way. The motel was full of forest fire fighters fighting fires nearby. We were upgraded to a room with a small kitchen at no charge. Skiing a Wolf creek was great too!! Everyone was wonderfully! Great getaway location!!.
